    US 1st Army--Engineers HQ Battalion
    Original WW1 US 1st Army Engineer Headquarters Battalion patch, large black wool A with composite red/white checkerboard wool branch color insert between legs. Also included with the patch is a WW1 Corporal rank chevron and a brass tape on OD green wool overseas stripe. Note that part of the right leg of the A has come unsewn but does not affect overall appearance. All three patches were salvaged from the remains of a WW1 enlisted wool overcoat and are still attached to the heavy wool fabric from the coat. Nice set for any WW1 patch collection, guaranteed original, in very good condition and one price gets all 3! Any questions please feel free to ask.
