    Description

    Description
Amazing vintage throttle. Tested- working condition.
Built from Linn Westcott’s TAT-IV design published as "Improved Transistor Throttle" in the March 1969 issue of Model Railroader
I basically just tested it running a locomotive. I did not test every feature
    Measures 10 x 8" x 8" tall
Looking inside the case, the wiring is super neat and organized. There are 3 circuit boards. I see 12
    transistors
The 2 circuit boards on the top plug in. They are labeled Tri-Delt TAT IV BD B , and Bd C. Board A is probably the power supply board
I understand that this was developed by LINN WESCOTT, editor of MODEL RAILROADER (1961-1977)
Rotary controls include: Throttle, Brake, Maximum volts, Start Volts, R
    ate of acceleration, Pulse width
    S
witches include AC Power, Acceleration, Pulse, Forward Reverse, and air brake
Great project for someone skilled in both electronics and model railroading
