Description
This 10-key Remington Rand adding machine was made in the late 1940s. It adds and multiplies but does not subtract. The keys and pull handle all work and the machine still prints, though lightly - it needs a new ribbon. However the "C" clear key at the bottom front seems stuck - it doesn't move very far. The manual is present, as is the original plastic cover, though it's quite worn. The model number isn't listed on the machine, but it would have to be either 7161 or 7171 according to the manual. The only cosmetic issues are dust and a chip to the serrated plastic paper guide on the far right side (second picture). The machine is about 13 by 10 by 6 inches. It's made of steel and weighs just under 15 pounds.Almost all my items are antique or vintage and come from a variety of sources. I cannot guarantee that any item is from a smoke-free or pet-free home.
