Description
Rare and exceptional Perfume Lamp - Art Nouveau style, with a signed white metal base and reverse-painted pink enamel globe attributed to Cambridge Glass Company. Similar to DeVilbiss lamps of the same period. The white metal base is signed in the mold with what appears to be "JC" or JG" inside a triangle as shown. The glass globe shape is essentially identical with a known Cambridge shape, as seen in the photo showing a Cambridge Glass Helio perfume lamp globe (not for sale) for comparison. The globe is in excellent condition with the only issue being a couple small areas at bottom where the pink enamel has flaked off. The electrical cord silk is frayed in a couple places with the insulation exposed so we have not tried to turn it on. If being use it should be rewired for safety. The lamp stands 8 1/2 inches tall overall.
