Description

Featuring Audubon's Shearwater (artwork depicting this coastal bird), this beautiful complete mint set of five stamps was issued by Palau on Feb. 6, 1985 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of John James Audubon's birthday (1785 - 1851). Four of the stamps are regular issues and will be supplied as an attached block of 4; the fifth stamp is a separately issued airmail stamp from the same set.
Very Fine (VF), mint never hinged (MNH) set. No Faults.
The actual size of the block of four stamps is 57 x 85 mm; the single airmail stamp is 29 x 43 mm.
