Wes Wilson was the originator of the Psychedelic Concert poster.  Wilson was responsible for creating the very first posters for the famed 1960's San Francisco Ballrooms, The Fillmore Auditorium and Avalon Ballroom.  These dance halls were home to the innovative "San Francisco Sound," and showcased such notable Bay Area bands as The Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane.  The posters from these venues have become scarce and valuable artifacts from this unique period in American history and Popular culture.
